Description

Inverted Span is a floor sculpture carved from solid teak, with a broad horizontal span and a central arch.

The defining transition where the primary mass, carved recess and continuous teak grain meet. The pale washed teak finish is hand-rubbed to a restrained low sheen, preserving grain direction, tonal variation and the quiet evidence of carving.

Medium is the recommended scale. Small and Large preserve the same approved form through uniform scaling. This monumental floor work requires a stable level surface and a reviewed delivery path.

Material and making

Hand-carved from solid teak and made to order. Natural grain, small tonal shifts and subtle hand-finished transitions are intrinsic to each work. Custom sizing may be requested and is quoted separately after placement, proportion, structure, delivery route and lead time are reviewed.
