Description

Captured Void is a tabletop wood sculpture carved from solid teak, with a softened cube framing an off-center circular opening.

The polished inner wall of the off-center opening against the dense outer corner. The ebonized teak finish is hand-rubbed to a restrained low sheen, preserving grain direction, tonal variation and the quiet evidence of carving.

Medium is the recommended scale. Small and Large preserve the same approved form through uniform scaling. The gallery scale study compares all three editions in a real interior with a 5′8″ / 173 cm adult contour.

Material and making

Hand-carved from solid teak and made to order. Natural grain, small tonal shifts and subtle hand-finished transitions are intrinsic to each work. Custom sizing may be requested and is quoted separately after placement, proportion, structure, delivery route and lead time are reviewed.
